Comments:
This saw was obtained from the grandson of the original owner. His grandfather was a Polish Immigrant who came to the US in 1929. He worked for "Fox Music Strings Co" in Chicago and made violin strings part time with his own business "John Pencil Maker Of Double Bass and E Strings". The grandson was unable to confirm if this saw was used in that business in any way.
Thanks to my brother in law the saw was just delivered to me yesterday. I have a great appreciation now for just how large these 24" saws are standing next to it. The motor which came with it is an Emerson Electric(not original.) All parts are there and working. On my long list of restoration at which time I'll add additional photo's.

(Edit) Correct manufacturer is identified as Walker Turner. This saw is shown in the 1936 Craftsman Catalog as 99PM2267. The Rip Fence and Front Support Bar option is shown as 9P2268.
(Edit: 6/4/12) Restoration Phot's attached.

Comments: After a preliminary clean up. I was delighted to find one with the fence and rail option.
