This saw was sold on e-bay in the spring of 2004. The owner provided me with the serial number which was 6802. This saw can be dated to being made after 1905 because the 1905 patent date is cast into the base and to before 1908 due to the old style of feet on this saw which were discontinued sometime before the printing of the 1908 Crescent Catalog which shows the newer style of feet. Here is what the owner had in the e-bay auction:

A 32" Crescent Band Saw powered by a new 5 HP Baldor motor wired for 220v (single phase). Saw is in good running condition, with the only exception being that the upper band wheel was recently repaired from several fractures and needs a new "tire" (rubber belt on wheel). The guides and babbit bearings are in good shape. Comes with magnetic switch and custom skids which the motor mount is incorporated into. Item weighs approx. 700lbs.
