This is my Parks/Craftsman Wood/Metal 18" band saw. This is the Craftsman version manufactured by Parks. It is essentially idential to the Parks Wood/Metal band saw. I do not know the model number of the Craftsman wood/metal machine, which has a transmission for changing speeds, but the Craftsman wood version is model # 112.23770. This machine came to me in good mechanical condition but it was ugly. The cabinet exterior was stripped to bare metal and painted. The saw is now equipped with a 2 H.P. Baldor motor. All the saw's parts are original with the exception of the blade guard and the tires. The guard was purchased from Morrison - Parks Supply in Covington, KY and the tires, which are an odd width, came from Timberwolf. Although the saw is very heavy it is on a HTC mobil stand and moves very easily. The second photo shows the rear of the machine and the access door to the transmission. The saw is outfitted with a shop-made dust collection port. I was able to use threaded holes that were already in the table to attach the 4" dust port.
