Rough looking planer being offered on ebay with an auction end date of April 1, 2004. Could be a nice planer with a little TLC. Seller included the following.

24? Yates American model B-8 planer-surfacer with 10 HP 3 phase direct drive motor. The machine can operate on either 220 or 440 volts. Ball bearing cutter head with 4 knives.
This planer is functional but will require one new table elevating screw and one section of the sectional infeed roller to accept stock either 8? thick or 24?wide. These parts were broken but have been repaired in a way that limits use to about 4? thick max and 22? wide. As shown in photos a section of casting is missing on the out feed side and has been filled with a piece of wood, this in no way affects the function of machine. The planer does run.
