Renovation of a 1952 Unisaw. It had been upgraded to a 3HP single phase motor but side panel was rough cut for motor clearance and dust cover was lost. It already had newer Unifence but with a plywood table extension. I enlarged cut for full clearnace of motor and welded lip to openings for strength. Molded a fiberglas motor dust cover, repainted, welded a mobile base, and used my old Craftsmen tablesaw top for a cast iron extension. Milled a router opening in extension and used old saw front mounted switch for the 3 hp Porter Cable router. Upgraded to a Peachtree fence and built a 80/20 aluminum router fence with exhaust ducting. Designed and added Power switch linkage for easy on/off of saw.
