This machine was in an old furniture factory in Suwanee Ga. When I went to work there at 18 (first employee) they were still using the old knives and basket. The knives were torqued into an upper and lower collet and if you didn't put them in right they would come out!! The machine was later fitted to take current shaper knives (I still have one of the old spindles) and many panels and doors were made with it. The shop went all commercial and it was un-hooked and moved to storage. It traveled to Texas with the owners brother who never hooked it up. After seeing him on a visit he told me if I wanted it I could have it. BTW the estimated weight is approximately 3500lbs. As far as I know it still works fine and I intend to find out as soon as my shop is built. Does anyone know how to date this? Is there any source of parts? A number of the accessories were lost including the knives original to the machine.
