I aquired this sander from a ad on castanet ,the po had aquired it from his brother who had a woodwork shop in the Seattle area, I have found no previous info on here about the company or any other equipment they made. The companies name is as follows, Miller Woodworking Machinery Inc,1110 E, Quilcene rd Quilcene Wash. 98376. There is a listing on Google for the company through business permits issued as of 1999 in Quilcene Wash. A phone call to the phone # has produced no results. The machine does look similar in manufacturing to some of the products manufactured by Acme and or R.A. Ness and Co LTD, as that the brackets, tube frames, sheet metal/wood housings are all similar. Even the paint scheme is the same. Is there a connection, maybe somebody can help me on this, as it would be interesting to find out. As far as the machine is concerned it runs and performs quite well. It is powered by 2 motors ,the sander motor, I believe is a 5 hp ( can,t quite see the tag) and the table drive motor is a 1 hp ,both 1ph 220 V. It is well built, heavy and interesting enough ,the main housing around the drums and sander area is made from 1/2" hy density plywood. Sheet metal surrounds the motor housings and electrical and 21/2 x 31/2 tubing is used for the main frame. I would be interested in any other info if available , thanks
