The person I bought this saw from was a teacher at Lower Columbia College, Longview, Wa. where this saw was used by the Theater and Arts department. The school remodeled the department and surplused the saw. The teacher placed a bid and won the saw, planning on using it once he built his home shop. He never actually used it because it ended up being stored in his fathers garage. Not sure how many years it was being stored but it has very little rust. Looks like it's lived indoors all it's life.
