This machine stands in a darkened warehouse in New Bern, NC. What you see are the sorry-ass "before" pics.

It started life as a flat belt, Babbitt machine. The only obvious mods. are the angle iron motor mount and pillow blocks on the lower wheel. I think the plywood wheel covers are custom - don't believe these were a factory option back then.

If I buy it, I'll ship it to L.A. and shine 'er up...
