bandsaw was acquired at an auction past summer. shaft on original 1.5 hp motor was fitted with wrong-sized sheave requiring new 2hp motor installation. guide bearings were both shot, replaced them plus ground/trued-up friction blocks, general clean-up/lube/oil and it now performs very well. i now use it for resawing and roughing-out bowl turning blanks.
