Comments:
Drill press powered by electric motor manufactured by Crocker-Wheeler. Located in the outdoor display at the Rossland Mining Museum in Rossland, BC. Unit stands about 6' high and may have been used in the shop of the Le Roi Gold Mine, located just metres away. The drill press bears a family resemblance to the Canedy-Otto drill presses seen elsewhere on this site. Other than the Crocker-Wheeler name on the motor no other names or numbers were visible, though such may have been covered by the multiple layers of old paint.
