Picked this up from a CL listing for $65.00. PO had 2 band saws for sale, the one in the photos and a Model 113.24350. This band saw needs tires, appears it has the original paint and "Craftsman" and "SKF" decals. There is no model tag nor rivet holes to indicate one was ever mounted. Has the hinged wheel covers and guards at the cutting side and on the left side between the hinged covers. Has a Dayton 1/4HP, 30 RPM gearhead motor. Pulley at the motor is 4" and pulley at the saw shaft is 3.5". The motor is set up in a bizzare way with a turn buckle and blocks of wood. (I C-clamped the blocks to the falling apart wood base to run the motor and saw shaft with no blade) The stand appears to be hand made due to uneven cuts and the bends in the legs. It weighs a ton too. Came with the extra blades shown in the photo and a full can of weldable blade that would be cut to length and then welded. This saw was used to cut metal. Also has a working lamp that obviously did not originally come with it. I will go through it, clean it up restore it, and use it. I have only seen one other saw on this site that appears to be the same model saw, but it did not have a model number either. If anyone knows the model number please contact me.
