Comments:
I bought the machine from a private party in Seattle in the mid-1990s. I don't know anything about it's history. The pedals were no longer with the machine, but the pedal assembly mounting holes can be seen at the base of the machine and the bottom wheel is very heavy to serve as a fly wheel.
The machine has babbitt bearings. The top wheel spins on a stationary shaft. This shaft is hollow and serves as an oil resevoir for the top wheel bearing.
