Recently acquired this saw in good working order, except the lower cover is missing. Per the serial number, this is one of the earliest examples. Will begin full restoration shortly. UPDATE: Restoration completed. Besides paint, I installed new bearings, urethane tires, table insert and blades. Fabricated a new upper blade guide bracket, left hand steel blade guard and MDF lower wheel cover. Also renewed the motor wiring and installed an appropriate switch. I had intended to sell this unit after the resto, but it runs so smoothly and quietly that it's going to stay right here, replacing my old Delta machine.
