It is very complete 1940 to 1942. When I got the jointer, it had the motor mounted low on the base, but someone made a bracket where the motor hung from the original mounting holes for the motor mount, so there were no new holes drilled any where.
The motor now is mounted in its correct mounting position. But it would of came with a 3 groove pulley and belt setup. This jointer has the cast iron motor mount, some I see have a pressed steel mount. Do not know how long the made the cast mounts.
This jointer does not have the dust chute in the rear, Looking at the 1940 catalog it looks like the 12in band saw and one of the table saws use the same base, but with out the dust chute. This jointer was either very early before dust chute, but I'm thinking it was sold with whatever base the dealer had at the time.
