Comments:
I purchased this off of Craig's List in 2007, in very poor (rusty) condition; I restored it with electrolysis. The fence needed an extension as part of the original was cracked off. Paint is brushed-on Rustoleum Royal Blue, motor is a mil-surplus Century 1/2 HP.
I'd be interested in knowing why this fence has an "open top" when most of the 0501/0502 jointers in the Index have a solid top. (Admin-BAK, 1/11/2016: First generation design in 1937. Subsequently redesigned to add stiffness to the fence and lengthen the tables.)
