I acquired this as one of my very first pieces of OWWM. it was in essence a single owner before me. The man I bought it form had it form his father( the oringinal powner) It had only very light use in the last several decades. It really didn't need much of any refurbishing. I setup a new table inspored by Mr Sawdust with some tweaks...I put in threaded inserts into the table so that I could micro-tune the table top easily. I put a curve on the front edge to match the swing of the saw arm and it has a 1/4 sacraficial top layer. I also painted hamertone finish on that I like. I added a Freud negative hook blade and fashioned a bungee cord saw return on it. When these saws are setup well they are very precise and a joy to use.
