I bought this at an auction in the summer of 2008. It was in such wonderful condition and had that nice cast iron art-deco base I could not pass it up. I really dindn't need it( heard that before?) I already had a early 50's powermatic 8" jointer so I sold this to a fellow OWWM'er from this site. I am glad it found a good home. Just this past year I bumped into the PO (whom I did not know before) and we talked about all of his vintage woodworking tools he sold at that auction. That auction also had a 50's Boice Crane 12" planer (that my friend bought) and a big beautiful Yates bandsaw (that I am still kicking myseklf for not purchaseing :(
