I bought this machine from a man in Cedar Grove, NJ off Craigslist. Machine has a 3hp motor, one #2 miter gage, the horse shoe connector, original blade guard, and a short stop electronic brake. Missing the second miter gage, original blade raising handwheel, and wrenches. This machine may have a newer fence, as it appears the fence is cast steel and not cast iron like the originals would have been. The miter gage and foot brake appear like they might have come off another saw as well, judging by the paint. Also, it came with a pretty small table extension, maybe off a 232 saw. I know the 232 and 270 share some parts, I just haven't dug into this saw yet. I plan on keeping this saw for dado and cutoff operations. I was amazed how smooth the motor ran after just plugging it in. Full restoration planned for this one.
