Purchased from an estate sale via %^$^list about 6 months ago. I really didn't need it, but the snowflake covers were too cool to pass up. Ended up being a fun project to work on with my son, and it's his now.....
Everthing was intact when purchased but very rusty and tires were gone. Estate manager thought that it sat for upwards of 15 years without use. stripped aand blasted everthing down to bare metal and painted a custome color that matched the paint found deep inside the lower wheel housing. Turned a new bottom wheel shaft from A2 steel with a 1/2" OD versus 12 mm OD so I could use a standard 1/2" pulley. Still looking for a bottom guide to improve performance over the standard "dowel" guide. Built a plywood stand with retracting three point caster for easy movement around the shop (garage). Still need to update the motor (a 1/3 hp motor just doesn't cut it), and install a rear pulley cover.
