I was looking for a cool looking older bench grinder, one with the nice rounded shape to it. Everyone must love to remove and lose guards and tool rests because that's what I kept finding missing. After a 2 year quest, imagine how excited I was to find this one so complete on C-List, $30 and I was happy to pay the man. PO told me it was left in the basement by an older gentleman along with a lot of metal. A 1939 catalog lists this as costing $68.00, quite a bit of money back then I'd say. It weighs in at almost 50 lbs. This will get new bearings and a fresh coat of paint.
