Picked this up on local computer classified add. This machine is tagged by Atlas Clausing Corporation but from my understnding it was also sold with the "Craftsman" badge as model 101.22950 (another member sent me a copy of the manual to this machine and it looks to be identical to the Atlas). I believe it was actually manufacured by Kalamazoo Industries (which is/was a brand under Clausing Industrial (I have been informed that some of the parts for the Atlas saw can be currently purchased from Clausing). Although kinda "toyish" in size as compared to the larger industrial saws, I am pretty impressed with its sturdiness and performance cutting smaller stock. It uses an adjustible hydraulic type cylider to control the feed rate and has a "quick release" half-nut on the vise...both cool features. The motor (which I'm not sure is original) is a 1/3 hp Dayton. I will probably replace it with a 1/2 hp (as suggested in the manual)vintage motor if I come across one.
