Acquired from a printing equipment dealer in 1991. I have extensively modified it to make it more useful for general woodworking. Major modifications include making a new spindle and relieving the base casting to accommodate a standard 10" blade, amking a table insert to accommodate a stack dado or molding head, and adding a table extension with rails for a homemade t-square fence. Hammond informed me of the date of manufacture and confirmed it sold for $1350 in 1968. I have made a number of attachments for the sliding table to include a tennoning jig, various miter gauges and finger jointing jigs.
