Local c-list find from last winter. Previous owner said he bought it from a guy he used to work for, who's father (a dentist and hobbyist woodworker, IIRC) bought the saw new.

Mechanically the saw appeared lightly used with a great patina - lots of copper left on the commutator, sharp teeth on the raising/tilting gears, almost no run-out. Never had a goose egg, no extra holes in the cabinet.

The saw came with the correct miter and fence as well as a later model Delta tenon jig, but had a light switch in place of the toggle. A NOS toggle was quickly sourced through BOYD, and otherwise all I did was replace belts, bearings and wires and she's good to go.

I'm almost tempted to strip and paint the saw, someday I probably will, but for now I think it's great just the way it is. I'd had my eyes open for a Unisaw for a few years, never managed to connect with one, and was pretty psyched when this showed up 15 minutes away. It's a keeper.
