I own my own Home Improvement company and I was giving a client an estimate when I saw this saw sitting outside, under a carport. I asked about it and he said he paid $50.00 for it a year ago (2009)-I asked if it were for sale, and he said for $50.00. I passed on it! Well, today(11/19/2011) I called this man back concerning another matter and just for curiosity I asked him if he still had it. He said yes. But, he tried to give it to a fellow and he never came back. I told him that if he is giving it away, I would take it. He said to come get it which I did. I kinda felt bad. We had discussed some pistols he owned and it just so happen I had a box of rounds for it. I brought them with me and we traded even. I got the saw home, plugged it in--it works just fine! There is nothing wrong with this machine except some surface rust which I can remove. It has all of the accessories with it.

I have never seen one with handles like this before. Always the dished/spoked wheels.

I cleaned the table with some acid to remove the rust and the table is not pitted anywhere. Nothing appears to be damaged.

Does anyone know what this is pointy thing is? Is supposed to be a locating pin for markings on the rail? Does it need to be turned up pointing toward the blade?

Cord wrap. No switch to turn on or off, just plug in and go.
