Comments:
I purchased the table saw from a custom golf cart dealer in Pensacola, Florida for $250. The saw had a burned-out 3 hp, 3-phase motor. The saw was in very poor condition. The top had been used as an anvil. The dust door was "rigged". There was only 1 belt on the saw. I replaced the motor with a brand-new Leeson 3 hp, single-phase 145 frame TEFC motor. I installed a new Furnas magnetic starter switch. I sand blasted the cabinet and Biesemeyer fence and rails. I repainted the cabinet and top with Sherwin Williams industrial enamel custom-matched to Powermatic green. I also repainted the Biesemeyer fence and rails with Rust-o-leum Satin White. The tilt and raising mechanisms were in excellent condition. I replaced the bearings in the arbor and installed 3 new belts.
