I purchased the shaper at an estate auction in Mobile, Alabama for $300. I totally refurbished it with new paint and new bearings on the shaft. I estimate it had been sitting in a former furniture manufacturer's shop for over 15 years. The top had a heavy coat of surface rust. After a thorough cleaning and sand blasting and 2 coats of Sherwin Williams enamel, I think it looks like new.
