i had been looking for a pattern maker's lathe with a large swing for quite a while that wasn't too far away or too pricey. this one seems to fit the bill. it came with 2-3 jaw , a large 4 jaw, 2-2 jaw chucks, small faceplates, large faceplates with t-slots, a drill chuck and some tool holders, 3 heavy duty hand tool rests including a 90 degree corner rest.
looking at the old pics of the bradford 16" metal lathe (http://www.lathes.co.uk/bradford/page3.html) my lathe looks as if they may have retrofitted at the factory a 16" Bradford machine lathe with risers to make it a pattern maker's lathe. any opinions on that?
