I picked this up off a guy who was selling it on craigslist. He was just not using it anymore so reluctantly was letting it go. It belonged to his grandfather who obviously kept it in great shape. The motor sounds very smooth and everything seems very tight. I was not sure I wanted one of these but the more I look at it the more I see some possiblities. Fits with my limited space and the multitude of uses it can perform. I will likely build a different base that will be used for storing stuff to make the space it takes up even more efficient. He lopped in a dado blade and it even had two of the original wrenches. Needless to say I might do some minor clean up but will not be messing with that original finish. It is quite apparent that this saw has not had a lot of use. A box of bandaids and I will be ready to play woodworker!!!
