This now-restored drill press was a very sad condition example of a fairly complete small benchtop Craftsman drill press. It was a cheap toss-in with a couple larger machines from a seller who was clearing out space in his storage unit. The tables have almost no damage whatsoever, everything moves as they are supposed to, and the only thing that appears to be a major problem is kludged handle assembly. The motor is a 1/3hp ball-bearing Dunlap, presumably original, which runs fine but needs the usual work. These are cool little machines and this should be fairly easy to get back into very nice usable condition.

Edit 2/2012. Machine restoration is complete as seen below. Very nice little compact drill press, surprisingly stout for its size.
