>>MACHINE<<
Packard Electric built Craftsman 6" x ¾" x ½" split-phase motor, ball bearing bench grinder.
All cast iron construction with heavy steel tool rests.
(Prior to the die-cast aluminum Delco models of the 1960s).
The grinder has a damaged replacement 3-wire cord. I'll fix that and put it into service.
The grinder runs very well, no restoration needed.
>>HISTORY<<
I received this machine in a grinder trade with a fellow OWWMer.
I picked up the grinder at ArnFest 2011.
Installed grinder on a Craftsman 2964 pedestal stand for shop use.
UPDATE 8/28/2015:
Replaced power cord with new 16-3 and grounded plug.
UPDATE 11/22/2016:
Removed original ND97502 bearings (shield-inner, shield with seal-outer).
Installed new Nachi 6202 sealed bearings.
