I purchased this machine from Rudolf H. Bass Machinery in Jersey City, NJ. It apparently spent its entire life at New York Hospital, now New York Presbyterian. According to Yates-American's records, it was manufactured in 1930 and delivered in 1931 thru Brown & Silver, Inc. located in the Bronx. As of 2011, they are still in business. It is three phase, 5 hp and presently wired for 550 V.
