Comments:
I acquired this in an estate auction in Sept of 2011. It had been well maintained and not much was needed to bring it up to snuff: a new thrust bearing, blade, tires and a belt. I left the original paint alone. This is a very well engineered and built band saw comparable for its size to my 14" and 16" Walker Turners. It tracks and cuts accurately and with little vibration, even considering the weak bench which will be replaced. It has the optional aluminum "snowflake" wheel guards and the cast iron sub base. The consumable parts of the guides and the table throat piece are made out of wood and easily replaceable. Its going to be competing for permanent shop space with my scroll saw.
