I bought this from a CL ad. I started to remove the old paint and found that a previous owner had some parts of the dp brazed. Maybe in its lifetime it took a tumble ,?. The brazing job was done well except for the way it was left, a little lumpy so I lightly filed it down in spots. The front pulley cover was missing a side, maybe to make it easier to change belts or to remove a cracked casting. The edges were ground down so well it looked like a factory option. I added a lead piece to bring it back to a more original look. Color,,,now thats a different story. I'm still in the process of painting it. The motor is not the original...more updates soon.
