Machine was spotted list as a "also a Big Belt Sander" side comment in a local Kijiji ad
for some Metal Working Equipement. It's been on my list for a long time .
Machine was identified with the help of OWWM, and I quickly drove out the hour long trip
and picked up the machine in Stattston , Ontario Canada .
The main part of machine had been sitting outside exposed for 2 years . the motor and controls, table
had been in a storage shed.
Arrived at the PO @ 2pm , and wheeled the unit out of the back storage area.
Loaded up in the Mazda 5 by tipping it over on the pc of plywood shown
and arrived back at the shop for 2:15 pm, unloaded it the same way .
Got to work on it a few times in that week following for a couple of
hours at a time, grinder crapp'd out ,all the other grinding was done
with cordless drills.
Taped it off and painted the first coat ( Wadkin Green )Friday night.
and repainted it the 2nd time on Saturday.
13 hours of restoration time into it .
Put it all back together , wired up a new OS AB 609 Manual starter.
and ready for service
4 HP 1735 rpm 550/3 Voltage
