I picked this up at an auction this summer. I went because a neighbor wanted some company and really had no interest in buying anything. Things were going cheap!! A Parks planer with direct drive motor went for $95 and a really nice 6" Delta jointer went for less than that. I had looked this DP over and was interested and so stayed to bid on it. I got it for $247.50 including 10% buyer's premium. Not a steal, but a decent price. I don't think it has had much use as the original belt is in very good condition. One very small ding in the table by the center hole and some minor pitting on the top, but nothing serious. The motor needed new bearings and I repacked the spindle bearings. I got the new bearings from Accurate and got spindle bearings, too. The original paint is good, but I think it spent a lot of time in a barn somewhere as every horizontal top surface was covered with caked on dust/dirt. Runout is less than .001". It is a 1/2 hp capacitor start motor. It came with a Delta mortising attachment and one Delta mortising bit. It makes a nice companion to my Rockwell Radial Drill that is in the background.
Update 01/21/2012
I have updated it with slow speed pulleys on both the motor and spindle. It seems to be a better range of speeds for my work. The pulleys can from two different people.
