Comments:
I picked this machine up as part of a lot which included a 1940s delta tilt top table saw, old craftsman jointer and a small unknown brand lathe. The whole lot for $150. It was complete except for one cover knob and the trunnion angle degree tag, the only damage is a brazed trunnion support assembly (which must be well done since the table tilts very smoothly). The previous owner bought the lot in an auction years ago but never even got around to plugging them in. It was a pleasant surprise when the (original) motor started up - albeit reluctantly.

An interesting thing about this band saw is that the circle tag says Delta Milwaukee but the serial number indicates 1953 in the Tupelo division, a year after the Milwaukee branch closed.

I'm currently in the process of doing a full restore.
