Comments:
Bought off of a friend of my fathers, who bought it in a 1930s school state sale in Chester county Pa. He was a hobbyist and kept it in his garage until 1977 when he sold it to me. Machine has brass bearings, leather belt and is very tight no shake. Oliver knew how to make them. Lathe does not have a motor but was told by some very good people on OWWM that the Hp would have been around 1/2 to 1 hp. And before this site was up they had guessed it to be around 1917 and according to this site it is 1917. Very good detective work.
