I was given this pillar drill today by my friend and neighbour. It was given to him by another neighbour some time ago and has been in his garage ever since. We stood the drill up on my bench and despite the chuck being very slightly stiff, which made the belt slip, (we soon freed that with a hand twist), the drill started and ran and we were soon drilling holes. The drill is clearly quite old and an internet search revealed this website. I thought you may be interested in the drill. I have uploaded pictures for you to see.
