Comments:
I found this bandsaw on craigslist for $50. The man inherited it from his friend who recently passed away. He was apparently the original purchaser/owner. Here are several "Before" shots. I will post the "After" shots as I restore it. The motor appears to be original, and i have been told that the stand is original, but I am planning on tracking down one of the "pedestal" style stands, offered in the 1950's sears catalogs. The saw is missing a few screws on the back side of the case, along with one of the blade guide locking screws, but other than that everything is there and in great shape. The table needs some de-rusting. The upper wheel bearings are a little noisy, but they will work for now.

Plans:
i ordered 2x Carter urethane tires, and the stabilizer.

Powder coating will be more expensive, bit it will last a lot longer. The color theme will likely be high gloss black and satin black.
