Found this saw at an estate sale. It had original Driver blades, blade guard, fence and motor. The entire machine was taken down to metal and repainted with a direct-to-metal alkyd paint true to the original color. I replaced the arbor bearings and installed new bearings in the motor. New decals were also fabricated and applied.
I could tell this saw had been well used and cared for. It looked like the original PO had been using the saw to build his model train sets at the time I aquired it. I was so struck and impressed by this little old saw that I couldn't wait to give it a good and deserving restoration. It runs like a top and is so smooth.
My only regrets are that I didn't install the wood on the fence and re-do the engine turning on the guard and fence rail before I photographed it.
