I was contemplating the purchase of a Unipoint radial arm saw, and e-mailed a friend for her take on how to fit it into my 10'x20' shop. She wrote back that this machine had appeared outside her office that morning, and although she'd like it for herself it just wouldn't fit in the basement. So it came home to me.

It's got a federal agency property sticker on it, but has been at my friend's private educational institution in Washington, DC, for twenty years or more, so it was obviously surplussed long ago. According to the folks at Wolfe Machine Co., the extension arm for the vertical adjustment was a military specification.

It reportedly runs well. All the mechanical parts are in great shape. I need to deal with the three-phase power issue, though.
