I bought this off ebay and it was damaged in shipping. I restored it and found another motor. This is a manual mill, with lever activation, great for doing production work. I use the mill mostly for slotting brass/bronze handsaw backs, and slotting the split nuts I make. I also have the vertical head attachment.

I turned these bronze split-nuts (2 on the left) on my South Bend 9A, and slotted them on the Nichols...the split-nut on the right is a brass one I bought from a machinist, which I copied.
