Comments:
I bought this from a regional college, and completely disassembled, repainted, and replaced the bearings. It's missing the model number tag, but I found out it's a Yates American J 70 from this site. The start/stop switch isn't original, as it originally used an interrupt switch in the speed control to stop the lathe when the speed control was turned to 0. I chose to add the magnetic switch for safety reasons.I haven't been able to find any paperwork for this lathe on the internet or from any other source.
