A local craigslist find. Conditions was bad (dirty, repainted, and light rust (see second picture)) but the spindle moved freely. This lathe was completely stripped, sand blasted, primed, painted, buffed, new bearings, and reassembled. Took several months due to schedule, commitments, family, other rebuilds...
Thanks to this site and the speedy quality replies I received from specific questions this rebuild went smooth. I need to give a big thank you to Mr Ed Morgan, who I found through this site. Multiple private emails with Ed enabled me to correctly ID and reassemble this classic woodworking machine. Thanks again.
*(Only step not taken due to finances way regrinding the ways. The ways are true but not pretty, I couldn't justify $150 just for pretty)*
