Comments:
We had this model of Post Drill on the family farm where I grew up. It was the first drill press I was ever introduced to. These were a medium duty machine normally found in garages and on farms. The original was sold at the farm sale when Dad quit farming. I finally found this one and restored it. Like the one on the farm this is can be set up on an electric motor and does occasionally does see use. It still drills a pretty good hole.

I probably went a little overboard with the gold lettering and striping, but I like it.

Belted up and ready to work. I'm using a 1/3 HP 2 speed motor wired for low speed only. The mounting is how I remember we had the original one.

Copy of ad from a 1929 magazine. They must have spent the $16.00 for mine as it has the chuck.
