Craigslist purchase a few years ago. Reputedly this came from the shop for the Eugene Water and Electric Board. It came in just great condition, simply plopped it onto the shop floor from the rig and put it to use. It does not have the original motor and currently has a newer 1 horse GE. I need to sharpen the knives soon. It could be a few inches longer and I'm not a fan of the end mounted fence. But I really like this jointer. Seems to have more mass in the cutterhead than the Delta 6" I picked up with a combo machine. It has great legs, too. I think I will someday mount the motor on the base under the jointer. Seems a more efficient design that way.
