A local dealer had two of these on his floor but with only a total of 10 spindles. He told me to take my pick of the two, and to choose half of the spindles, the rest would stay with the second sander. I gladly paid his $375 asking price and carted the machine home. A call to Freeman Pattern Supply, however, revealed that the missing spindles were $80 each, plus more for the rubber sleeves.... it would cost over $400 to complete the set of spindles. I made a call back to my friendly used machinery dealer and told him I'd take the other sander as well. Since I was a returning customer and the second machine was 3-phase, his price for this sander was $325.

Freeman Supply is a distributor for State sanders and handles all the parts and accessories. Be sure to ask about quantity discounts when you buy your sleeves, as it is significant. I generally split an order with a friend, as well. The B-4 spindle sander had 3 generations. The oldest sported a round table. The second generation brought a larger rectangular table and a metal dust cap on the machines arbor socket. The latest generation features the same table, but a plastic dust cap on the spindle socket.
