This was acquired when my father-in-law's uncle passed away. Based on his recollection, it was probably originally his grandfather's brother's. Since my father-in-law was born in the 40's, that would mean the saw could be 80 to 100 years old (1910's? 1920's?). In any event, I was not able to find any information regarding Wm F. Diehl / Dayton O. as an equipment manufacturer and their doesn't seem to be a relationship to Diehl Machines. I am interested in any information regarding this saw.

10/17/2011 - Added photo with guards open. Also measured wheels to be 12" diameter.
