Hey All,
Here's a big dog boring machine that we purchased from a millwork company in Oahu Hawaii a long while back. The guy had advertised it online, but turned out he was hesitant to sell to me because I was also in the state of Hawaii at the time. They used the machine to dowel interior doors and he did not want it to go to any potential competitors. I finally convinced the seller that I was on Maui and that I was just a cabinetmaker and not to confuse me with a real business, so the deal was struck.
It is a fully automatic boring machine with pneumatic clamping of the work to the table. The previous owner and I were using this for 3/4" dowels and it has plenty of power for that. The XL in the model # means it is an extra large table. It came with the formica table and we added the mobile base. It will drill 4 holes at once and has those cool Oliver adjustable boring heads. We are not currently using this machine on our production floor, so it is looking for a new home.
